At VOA Ohio & Indiana, our Fresh Start Recovery Centers help mothers recover from substance use disorder and have healthy children. Our program uniquely allows mothers and children to remain together during treatment, an approach that is understood to increase the likelihood of long-term recovery.
We’ve seen the positive impact that this program can have across our locations in Indiana. Fresh Start has given mothers like Crystal a place to heal and rebuild.

This is why VOA Ohio & Indiana is thrilled to bring Fresh Start to Ohio later in 2024. Leading health and well-being company, Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) has contributed a $1.7 million capital investment to support the acquisition and renovation of the facility that will house this family focused recovery center.
With this in mind, mid-May is all about moms! In honor of Mother’s Day, we’re hosting a donation drive to fill our new Fresh Start location with love. You can donate items that all new moms need to succeed!
